Grain and Legume Growers

Grain and Legume growers across the US in a few key bioregions are increasingly relying on Apical's integrated laboratory and agronomy services to help them stay competitive under a variety of stressors–economic, environmental, regulatory, and market-driven.

Since 2014, we have been working closely with grain and legume growers on organic, regen, transitional and conventional fields, helping to diagnose, implement and improve grain and legume growing practices.  Our research has partnered with some of the cutting-edge leaders in the fields of ecology, agronomy, plant, and human nutrition, unknowingly being a small part of a massive groundswell of enthusiasm about how to improve the lives of others through agriculture.

Many of the growers that use Apical have become steady adopters of leaf sap analysis technology, making it a cornerstone of how they have begun to shift their bioregion into foliar nutrition, soil health building, and nutrient density.  By using Apical’s actionable insights, dozens of growers on tens of thousands of acres have realized the simple truth: by asking what the plant needs we can grow a better crop.

Other key insights that have been gained in the last 8 seasons working with an incredible group of small grain growers have been identifying nutritional vectors of weed proliferation, understanding how nutrient excesses lead to reduced crop performance, and how to optimize plant nutrition in a range of growing systems and application strategies.

Find out how your grain growing can benefit from these sorts of insights by tapping into the apical network of growers and advisors.
